Job cost
What the job actually cost: material bought against it, plus out-of-pocket expenses with receipts. Actuals, not the estimate.
Every other money screen in Jeevy is about what a job is expected to cost. This one is about what it did. The section is headed Project expenses and it puts two sources of real spend side by side: the material bought on purchase orders for this job, and the out-of-pocket costs people paid themselves and claimed back.

Material purchases are read-only here
The material table is a view of procurement, not a place to change it. Prices and lines are edited in Materials and POs, and this table follows.
Reimbursements are entered here
Add expense records an out-of-pocket cost: what it was, when it was purchased, how much, and a receipt. Each row shows who submitted it and when it was logged, which are two different dates and both are kept.
Managers can additionally:
- Mark an expense paid, which is what moves it from claimed to reimbursed.
- Export the lot, as a spreadsheet with the receipt files alongside it.
Labour is not in here
This screen covers money spent, not hours worked. Labour is costed from task time, which rolls up from the task to its work stream and project. See Shop time and task time.
